Frequently Asked Questions
Here are all the facts about all of those FAQ's.
01
Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
Here at Coastal Kitchen Interiors we may specialize in custom kitchen cabinetry but we also customize bathroom vanities, media centers, laundry rooms, home offices, closets and so on. We work closely with professionals in the fields of countertops and flooring as well as window and tile specialists which can save our customers the hassle of working with numerous people for one job. From a simple countertop change to a major room redesign, we will assist you every step of the way.
02
What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
It is important to have thought about a budget for your proposed project. The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) recommends the budget for a kitchen remodel to be between 10 and 25% of the value of your home and 18% is most common. For a bathroom remodel NKBA recommends between 5 and 10% of the value of your home and 10% is most common. The budget should cover areas like cabinetry, countertops, appliances, lighting/electrical, wall covering, floor covering, plumbing, and labor. Be realistic with your budget, set your priorities, and we will help you get the most for your money.
03
Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A large part of our business is educating our customers about custom cabinetry and helping them realize that custom does not necessarily mean costly. There are many decisions to be made when choosing new cabinetry for your kitchen or bathroom and it goes a lot deeper than just choosing the color or the size of the cabinet. You want someone who understands what your options are and why one choice might be better for this particular installation when another choice would be better for something else. We want you to be confident in your selections and to love your new cabinetry for years to come.
04
What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A popular trend right now in kitchen design is the sleek, contemporary style. This is not to say that traditional styling is out of fashion and, in fact, it will always be a classic. There are many people are looking for something different and are willing to take that step to bring their personal style into their home and to do something that isn't as conventional and "safe" as what the typical traditional style would allow. The use of color and mix of materials as well as a 'less is more' approach is gaining strong popularity with homeowners.

If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
No two jobs are ever the same... ever. Each job is just as unique as the homeowner and with so many choices available, it's simply impossible to say 'a new kitchen of your size will cost $___.' Even in a brand new construction scenario a kitchen should not be designed for a one-size-fits-all approach. The perfect time to improve the functionality of your kitchen is when you remodel and this is when you want to consult a professional so that you can achieve exactly what you want and need in your new kitchen.
